Housing Connections

The Housing Connections system is a public housing registry. It allows participating housing providers within the province access to a common list of applicants maintained by the provincial housing commission. In addition, it allows those same housing providers access to an on-line rent calculator for tenants in their developments that receive a subsidy.

Ibex's Role

Ibex Consulting Inc. was a subcontractor on this project. While most of the development was done by others, Mark authored all of the requirements and business design. This included almost 500 pages of detail specifications which included screen prototypes and a complete data dictionary. The following may give you more of an idea of the scope of this project:

• 5 back-ground processes
• 51 table maintenance screens
